This anime I will be talking about is called Serial Experiments Lain, an honest masterpiece and clear savant of science fiction that was for its time, but now most of the stuff is becoming more real than ever with the advances in technology. The year is 1998; the internet is in its infancy and technology is shifting to a new era that might have outcomes of you being glued to a chair for 4 hours watching the entire series of Attack on Titan season 4 just to have a lot of regret about that decision and wondering why you waited 6 years for this. This anime is about those consequences of unrestricted internet access but with a creative avant-garde 90s vision of technology that’s rooted in fiction. From the character designer that would later work on Kino's Journey and Haibane Renmei, and writers of Texhnolyze this anime was super complex and revolutionary from the get-go. Lain being a shy person is always on that god dang phone and pooter had a brilliant idea of merging with t...

Introduction Hello world, it is I the one and only coma. This blog will be about a new meme in recent year that’s become very popular in meme culture which is the manga called Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san or the English title which is Please don’t bully me, Nagatoro, it may sort of random and not have any reason for it to exist like the rest of my blogs, but I guess that’s my style. This will be written in the view of someone who read the manga only. What is a Sadodere? Before we explain what a Sadodere I need explain what the heck “Dere” means. A Dere type usually refers to a female anime character but can be male; that is used in conjunction with another word, it explains the character personality or troupe like the Sado part of Sadodere is short for sadomasochistic which is combination of sadist and masochist so that’s how the word is made but what does it mean? Well, A Sadodere is that enjoy teasing and manipulating the love interest which they take pleasure in, also dere is short for ...

I'll be talking about a special anime that I think is an unorthodox masterpiece. In the world of MMORPG, Tsukasa finds himself trapped in this unfamiliar world as he is unable to log out and has slight amnesia. He awakes in the dungeon with no recollection of the past, Tsukasa tries to avoid all interaction with other players as much as possible while looking for answers of why he got here in the first place as he tries to avoid people that all fails as he meets a particular character named Mimiru. She tries to interact with Tsukasa but he is an introvert to social activity, in result he ends up running away everytime. That doesn't stop Mimiru as later they finally form a bond, she noticed that Tsukasa is vulnerable as a player and as a person so she vows to protect him no matter what. She has another acquaintance named Bear who acts like the moral group support and strength of the group. Tsukasa joins the squad of average users in a quest to untangle the mystery behind Tsukasa...

Hello minasan!!  it's yo boi coma here, this is gonna be my first "professional" blog even though I'm no where near close to being one but everyone's gotta start somewhere, right? Sorry this blog is a bit too short but regardless enjoy and until next time Psychological Amino This post will be about psychological anime, this genre always stuck out to me and fascinated me from the first one I watched (which was death note btw) because it so under appreciated and japan seems to hardly to make them in comparsion to the shonen genre or "school anime" which kinda sucks but I think that just adds to the niché and shows how innovative the genre really is. The psychological genre delves deep into stuff that people in the outside world tend to keep to themselves and its often not talked about (almost making it taboo in a weird way) The genre is almost avantgarde in a way: for example; shows like neon genesis evangelion portrays the main character (shinji) to go t...
