3-gatsu no Lion

The story follows Rei Kiriyama, a shogi elite that has been a savant at an early age and grew up being in the light of success, but as he grows older, he realises the amount of pressure and finds it hard to keep a float in the world. The opening really speaks to it, which actually shows the waves of water that are crashing into him symbolising all his trauma and expectations, etc that he's going through and I think the full animation opening video really metaphorically shows the imbalance of Rei’s life perfectly. Rei however finds three sisters that bring him into their home and show him admiration and love; it’s super wholesome to watch their daily lives and make Rei come out of his comfort zone. For me, I very much relate to Rei as when I first started watching, I experienced very much what he was going through and it’s very cathartic to watch this anime as it deals with so much heavy and deep stuff, but also it’s a very meaningful life lesson for anyone going through stuff. I’d...

How to Write a Good Blog

Image
So you want to become a blogger but you don't know where to start or how to write, well in this blog I'll show you how to make a blog easily. It's actually pretty simple how to write and once you know how it's very fun to express yourself. To get a featured blog, you’re usually looking at around 900 words minimum that's mainly opinionated throughout. You can, like me go a bit above that just to be something somewhere in the 1000 words ballpark or can be even more up to 3500 as long as it's more opinion than facts. (If you're doing a review of an anime, you can review the 5 points; story, characters, sound/voices/music, animation, art (style)/character design, enjoyment as well) First before you start you need a plan or what you are going to write about, so put the premise or helps to have an idea of the title of the blog first. Also, if you're doing a anime, review, then start the description of the anime or character. Once you know what you wanna talk a...

Hell's Paradise - A Future Demon Slayer Rival

Image
As of a couple months ago, I've been more dedicated to anime and blogging so a good way for me to finish and watch more anime was to watch all seasonal anime as they come out so I can finish 20 anime passively to boost my stats. Which is my crazy enjoyment, and a new anime that stood out to me last season was Hell’s Paradise. This anime was so original and hype that I must share it with za world. This anime could in fact rival Demon Slayer if it had enough seasons. Hell’s Paradise is super interesting and a cool concept, so there'll be a few spoilers later in the blog but firstly the recommendation part. Hell’s paradise is about a criminal named Gabimaru who is basically unkillable no matter what execution is done to him he survives, but this swordswoman is the only person that can actually execute him. The worst criminals in the land are brought together to travel to an island to retrieve an elixir of life and whoever does will be spared. From the get go the story is amazing a...

Graduation Review

Good Morning 9/10 A wholesome motivational song, that should honestly be my alarm. Kanye's raps actually have meaning about education, prospects and dreams. The vibe of the song is immaculate and amazing, the pace of the song also is great and just a great song to vibe to. Especially in the morning would make anyone's day.  Champion 10/10 The sample just slaps so hard, Kanye has a habit of just having samples overtake the song and put any hardly input into it; which sometimes hit or misses but Ye actually carries with the sample. It's the perfect recipe for the Kanye style, it's another motivational track with a good message as well. It also has two different choruses which is insane for nearly 3 minutes, Ye went above and beyond for this track. It's super underrated also. It's about being at the top but not going over your head and being reckless, and Kanye showing his Kanye best by gloating but the doesn't ruin the song and it's an amazing song. Strong...

Waves of Time

Image
Time, a concept that everyone knows. The passage of time is a cruel one, something that affects us all. It does not discriminate, everyone is equal in how time pulls the punches. If you have watched as much anime as me or more then you’d come across anime’s of similar topics and stories. Today, I’d like to share two anime of high calibre quality about the concept of time; which I can also use a big brain move and talk about some philosophy or teachings while I talk about the anime. This is high elo ranked blogging as usual, a very special one. Of course I’ll be talking about time, mortality, and spoilers so if you’re triggered by those subjects be advised. I even got emotional remembering and writing this :') Your name - “Comin’ together to form a shape, twistin’ and tanglin’, sometimes comin’ undone, breakin’ off, then reunitin’. That’s a braided cord. That’s time. That’s musubi.” Your name aka Kimi no na wa, a groundbreaking movie for anime which is comparable to how Avatar chan...

Motivation in Anime | Collab

Image
Welcome to another collaboration this time with my group to celebrate our return . This blog will be about lessons and values learnt from anime and how it can be motivational to us. We will share this with and hope it will motivate you too and spread the unwavering positivity of the human spirit. Remember to always be positive and have fun. Jishin BLUE PERIOD “Art is a language without words. It conveys things that cannot be conveyed by words.” I actually had a hard time choosing which anime to talk about as there is a lot that I can choose from, but I decided to go with Blue Period as it was something that touched my heart surprisingly. At first, I thought the anime would be boring, but it proved me not. I had an impression that it was a fantasy story, but instead it has a touch of realism. Blue Period is an inspiring story about a student named Yatora Yaguchi who lives a life pleasing others. He believes that people who are true to themselves can’t survive in society ‘till he sa...
