Wuthering Waves Trophy Guide
Wuthering Waves Trophy Guide
By Konatoast
Stage 1: The Beginning: Huanglong
You awaken with no recollection of your past self. This stage covers Act 1 and any miscellaneous trophies you can do along the way, while farming and starting your daily grind. It may take almost a week to reach the next stage, but this is where you can do everything the game has to offer, and maybe take part in some events for extra gems, while also completing the story of Act 1.Stage 2: Well Adjusted: Reaching Level 20 & Black Shores
Now you're getting the hang of the game. You want to save your Asterites for the DPS you want, and maybe a healer. If you spend money, you can make the grind quicker with refills, but maybe wait until you have a good few characters to build. Milestones will help greatly at the start, and you want to be around Union Level 60 before you think about platinuming the game. This involves completing Act 2. One good thing about Wuthering Waves is that the story is short if you skip dialogue, which is a great addition, and WuWa has a lot of QoL additions compared to its predecessors.Stage 3: The Long Grind: Reaching UL60 & Building Your Team
This stage will probably take you two months if you play every day and use refills, or four months if you only use your default refills, but this game has lots of goodies, and you will be able to use all your Asterites on stamina to make it faster. For this, you want a team that consists of a main DPS, a sub-DPS and a healer, and maybe a backup DPS in case of the right type against the Tower of Adversity. Havoc Rover is a good start for free-to-play, but he falls off after a while, like in Calamity Tactical Hologram, so we cannot one-trick these last trophies. For the Experimental Zone, you can use your team for only the last two of each stage and do the lower ones with your second DPS. You can also reset the tower once you have all the crests in one stage and move on to the next, if your team is fully maxed and built. You also need to learn when to dodge for the Tactical Hologram, or you will be knocked out in a few hits, so it takes some practice and you cannot be under-levelled.Stage 4: The Real Challenge: Hazard Zone
Unlike other similar games, you need to spend weeks farming all the skills and the correct echoes for your team. You can do it with one team if you're strong enough, but you may want extra characters to swap in as DPS if yours aren't suited to this. To save energy, if the first stage is around level 70, you can use your backup DPS to do it and save your main DPS for the last three fights. This trophy may be the platinum breaker for some, but once you get all the crests for one stage, you can reset and do the next, then repeat, which makes it much easier.Disclaimer
This is a gacha game where you need to pull characters for one trophy, and it is very time-based, so do not sleep on this game. If you get unlucky and don't get the characters, or you waste your pulls, you would have to do even more to get enough pulls, or spend money. Spending money may even be needed for a certain build you go for. For Hazard Zone, try to spend your pulls on a good meta team, and try not to waste resources building someone like Havoc Rover. He is good in the base game, but he falls very short in the tower. Electro Rover, however, is good, but he is unlocked at Chapter 4, which is another 40 to 70, or even 100, hours depending on how much you explore and do.Unfortunately, with the new metas you would have to catch up, as for a good team of past characters you would have to wait for them to come back in rotation. The fastest option, although it means more time spent on the game, is going for the latest meta build, with Hsin and Suoming being a good example. You would also have to pull a good weapon, or at least your main DPS's signature weapon.
So the time is 70 hours if you focus only on progressing quickly and building the right teams, which can be very much a grind, as you need to max your main DPS's skills. A healer can be a bit short on levels and still be useful for their purpose.
TROPHIES:
You can do this by getting 30 crests, and you can reset once you get 10 crests in one tower. The middle tower is the platinum breaker, and you need a very good team or it is impossible. Check the recent metas when you start the game so you can do this as soon as possible, or it may never be possible if you don't prepare, as the pulls could dry up and you would have to wait for more content or spend more money.
