Fate: Reawakened Trophy Guide

By Konatoast & Zael

 DIFFICULTY - 4/10 | TIME - 35hrs | PLAYTHROUGHS - 1

 Stage 1: Getting Started

In this stage, you want to start off by going through the first game, picking off the easy trophies and gaining the right spells, like Mental Map to reveal every floor of the dungeon and Haste so you can go faster than running and speed through the levels.

Stage 2: Progressing through Dungeons

Get to level 35 in each dungeon while picking up all the gold and gems you find, and make sure to kill 10 bosses with 4 weapon classes. If you come across a fishmonger to buy from, buy the fish you haven't gotten yet. Keep books with town teleporters so you can turn in your quests to get stronger.

Stage 3: Fishing & Cleanup

Catch all the fish in the game, and the rarest item, the Cheesehead, by fishing at the dock in the Grove until it drops. Also clean up other things, like gambling the cheapest options with all the gold you've gotten.

Stage 3.5: Clean-up & Create a Descendant

In this stage, you clean up any trophies you haven't gotten yet. When you're ready, progress to the 45th floor in the first game. When you beat it, you can create a descendant. You may want to back up your save so you can revert, or you will lose your character, unless you don't care about playing again for fun.

Stage 4: Hardcore

Reach level 20 on a hardcore character. In the first game, take 3 quests from each floor; you can refresh the quests by saving and exiting and then joining back. This should give you level 20 by floor 13. You can back up your save just in case you get something like overpowered yetis at level 8 that kill you. The Gambler has the strongest modifiers on any gear. You want a Strength and Vitality build on a Cogger, and try to get gear that increases those and life. You can also go for Attack and Defense afterwards, which can help a little too. Most bosses are easy and give good XP, so clear every floor, except if it's a yeti floor. If you can do more than 3 quests per level, you can reach level 20 by floor 8, although you may need an earlier patch for that.

Tips & Tricks

Make sure to get Haste and Mental Map first to save a lot of time, as it could take twice as long without them. You can use the Gambler in the base game once you have 100k gold for your build, but go for gear with modifiers in percentages, like 10% Strength, not flat numbers, and then you will be unstoppable or, if you do fishing early, apparently you can get good early gear that will keep you safe for a while.
